My proposal “Iceland: Landscapes of Power” was selected by the University of Virginia landscape architecture faculty for the 2011 Benjamin C. Howland Traveling Fellowship.

I will spend three months in Iceland, examining the influence of the island’s geothermal infrastructure on the formation of its cities and public spaces at multiple scales.

I hope this blog becomes a digital forum for those interested in: this research, Iceland, the Howland Traveling fellowship, or just staying in touch.

Please participate.

Thank you to all of those who join in this process!

  1. Hi, I was going through my emails and was reminded that you are now here: Welcome! (better late than never). Turns out I´m just around the corner from your apartment, Brautarholt 6. Call me if you want to drop by for coffee.
